Ithaca College

On behalf of the African-Latino Society [ALS] at Ithaca College, I would like to announce the 1st Annual Freestyle Friday Competition at Ithaca College. The event takes place in the Emerson Suites at Ithaca College on Friday, February 3rd, 2006 from 7:00 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Admission: $5.00 (IC/Cornell University students) and $8.00 (outside students).

The competition is broken down into two components: (1) dance and (2) freestyle [hip hop/rap] performance. Those interested in the dance component may enter as either a solo, duo, or group act. Those interested in the hip hop/rap performance component may only enter as a solo act and will compete against other solo participants.

Prospective applicants must submit an audition tape, an informational form, and a non-refundable fee which varies based on the type of submission.
