Native American filmmaker Fidel Moreno will screen and discuss several of his recent films on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 7:00 p.m. in Textor 102.

Don’t miss the opportunity to meet this award winning filmmaker (Peyote Road, This Land is My Land: Blood, Bones and All, and Wiping the Tears of Seven Generations) and CEO/creative director of Native Visions. Screenings will feature We are the Ones and Out of the Shadows of Silence. Fidel has produced and directed critically acclaimed documentaries which have influenced congressional legislation in the areas of American Indian Freedom of Religion, and public awareness/education/information media campaigns (i.e. U.S. Supreme Court Decision -- Al Smith Case, NAGPRA, and the Wounded Knee bill). He was commissioned by the prestigious Corcoran Gallery in Washington, DC to produce and direct This Land is My Land: Blood, Bones and All.
