One of the library's servers will be upgraded on Monday, November 21 and Tuesday, November 22. As a result, there will be no access to the following services: the online catalog, electronic course reserves, and digital audio reserves.

Remote access to databases will be available on library PCs and laptops. Databases may be accessible from faculty offices and computer labs. They will not be accessible off-campus and from dorms. Please plan your research accordingly. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Clarification: There will be no remote access to databases (not "no access to remote databases").

This means that access to databases will be available from the library only, but not from the dorms or other remote locations until the upgrade is complete. This is because the proxy server is on the machine which is being upgraded.
