World AIDS Day is Thursday, December 1.
There will be events on- and off-campus.
Muller Chapel will be open for meditation and reflection from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (free red ribbons will be available).
There will be an AIDS informational table (with a guessing jar, ribbons, and more) in the Campus Center from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The "Out of the Closet and Onto the Screen" film series presents <i>One + One</i> at 7:00 p.m. in Textor 103.
A poignant film that gives insights to how serodiscordant couples cope with the difficult task of living with HIV on a daily basis, and the deep bond they share because of it.
The AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Thursday, and from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday at Willard Straight Hall Memorial Room, Cornell University.
STAP(the Southern Tier AIDS Program) is hosting a 5k fun run starting at 4:00 p.m. at Gimme Coffee. Call Ann at 272-4098 for details and registration. Run will end with candle lighting ceremony and warm drinks. (No entry fee; this is not a race!)
