Applications for Peer Volunteer Corps' Alternative Spring Break
Program are now available at www.ithaca.edu/csli and are due to the
Center for Student Leadership and Involvement by Friday at 5 p.m. ASB
is a week-long volunteer experience for students interested in serving
their communities during Spring Break in March.

This year's ASB program will send four groups to locations in West
Virginia, Florida, Louisiana, and Washington, D.C. The group going to
West Virginia will be working at Scottie's Place, a summer wilderness
camp for homeless children. This group helps with renovations and
projects to ready the camp for the children. The groups going to
Florida and Louisiana will both be working on hurricane relief
efforts. The Washington, D.C. program is a new offering from this
organization, and will consist of several small service opportunities
with various learning components.

We are looking to take 48 students on these volunteer-based trips, so
be sure to get your application in early! Please contact
bdashew1@ithaca.edu if you have any questions about the trips or the
application.
