The Division of Finance and Administration is pleased to announce the streamlining of operations through a restructuring of the general services department.
When Jeff Brainard left the College early in the fall, it provided us with the opportunity to assess alternatives for how best to manage the general services area going forward. Jeff’s sixteen years of service in general services will be hard to duplicate, but we have put in place a structure that we believe recognizes the talent and skills of existing personnel and that will continue to serve the College well. The responsibilities for overseeing mail services, the print shop, warehousing and duplicating services departments will be assigned to the executive assistant to the vice president for finance and administration, Brian Martinson. In addition Wayne French, the current print shop manager and a twenty-five year veteran of the department will take on the additional responsibilities of managing the warehouse, archives, office equipment pool and convenience copier services in his new position as manager of print shop and warehouse operations and services. Karen Serbonich and Cindy French will continue to supervise mail and duplicating services respectively.
