Are you an adoptive or foster parent or interested in becoming one? Attend an introductory meeting of Ithaca College Adoptive Parents (ICAP).

Human Resources is pleased to announce that an adoptive parent support group has been developed for the Ithaca College community. The first meeting will be held on February 7, 2006 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in Friends room 202.

The meeting will be facilitated by Renee Hettich, MSW, Ithaca College alumnae ‘87, and social worker at Family Connections adoption agency in Cortland, who will speak on the topic “Are Those Your Kids?: How to respond to inquiries from others.”

We will also decide how often the group would like to meet and what topics the group might be interested in exploring for future meetings.

Feel free to bring your lunch. Beverages and dessert will be provided.
