The article is “Murder Made Real: the Visual Revolution of the Halftone” published in 2003 in the Virginia Magazine of History and Biography. The article previously won the Virginia Magazine’s award for their best article of the year. This is an excerpt from his larger book manuscript, and it was helped along by CFRD released time and by an IC Summer Research Grant for Faculty.
