Linda Buettner Visits ICGI

Linda L. Buettner, Ph.D. will be this spring’s Visiting Scholar at the Gerontology Institute. Professor Buettner is a nationally recognized expert in memory loss, specifically Alzheimer’s disease.

Buettner is currently a professor at Florida Gulf Coast University and director of the SW Florida Center for Positive Aging. Prior to relocating to Florida Professor Buettner was the director of the Casella Alzheimer’s Education Center at Decker School of Nursing at Binghamton University.

Professor Buettner will present a public talk on Wednesday, February 15 at 7:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall. Her talk is titled "Community of Care: Innovative Programs and Services for Persons with Memory Loss." A reception will follow the lecture. This program is FREE and open to the public.
