The AIDS Working Group is bringing the AIDS Memorial Quilt to Ithaca College again. Look for the display in Emerson Suites February 19 to 22. We are also seeking volunteers to help and offering group facilitated viewings.
The AIDS Memorial Quilt is the largest on-going community art project in the world, and part of the Quilt is coming to Ithaca College. Each panel was made to remember the life of a person lost to AIDS. We hope you take this unique opportunity to participate in this powerful experience as a viewer or volunteer.
Quilt Display Schedule:
Feb 19: Opening ceremony in Emerson Suites at 7:00 p.m.
Feb 20 to 22: Facilitated viewings from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; open viewing from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
