Ithaca College

On April 10 through 12, Ithaca College will join five of the most highly-regarded communications schools in New York for the Central New York Communications Consortium at Syracuse University.

This is an opportunity for students to meet with professionals in the communications industry and interview for jobs and internships in their desired field.

CNYCC provides students the opportunity to meet and interview with professionals from a wide variety of disciplines within the communications industry, including journalism, public relations, advertising, broadcasting, and production. Companies such as Clear Channel Radio, McCann Erickson, Katz Media Group, and Data Key Communications will have representatives on hand to meet with students. Students from all majors are encouraged to submit applications for interviews.

The consortium consists of an information fair on Monday, April 10 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Syracuse University. There, students will ask questions and meet with recruiters prior to their interview. The information fair is open to all students regardless of whether they have scheduled interviews on the following days. Tuesday, April 11 and Wednesday, April 12 are reserved for interviews with prospective employers.

The deadline for application submission is March 3 at 11:59 p.m. Students should visit www.ithaca.edu/cnycc for more information and application specifications. Students will be informed of their interview schedule by March 29.
