Please join the Ithaca College Toastmasters Club in congratulating the following members who have met all requirements for Toastmasters recognition.
Members Ardie Bennett and Laurie Hultbert from Longview both recently attained their Competent Toastmasters (CTM) awards. The CTM is awarded at the completion of a series of 10 progressively challenging speeches. Ardie was able to complete her CTM in front of her Longview friends at our December meeting which was held at Longview.
Toastmaster officers Beth Rugg and Doreen Hettich-Atkins have both achieved Competent Leader (CL) status. The CL is award to toastmasters who have earned their CTM, served at least 6 months in a leadership role in the club, attended club officer training, presented two speeches to the club on issues related to leadership, and participated in the goal setting processes of the club.
