Physical therapy faculty member Barb Belyea organized a group of seven junior year PT students to help at the New York State Special Olympics Winter Games.

The students traveled to the Oncenter in Syracuse, on February 11 and worked as volunteers assisting with an American Physical Therapy Association FunFitness program that consited of screenings, testing the athletes' strength, flexibility, and balance, and offering education and advice for enhancing their performance. The IC students also got to interact and work with future colleagues from the SUNY Upstate PT program.
