For a suggested donation of $1 you, too, can take a chance on the Bursar's Benefit Auction iPod! The iPod will be raffled off at the fourth annual auction on March 29, and you need not be present to win (but trust me, you WILL want to be present to view all the other awesome items being auctioned!).
Raffle tickets are available at the bursar's office or from any bursar's office staff member. We are suggesting $1 per ticket or 3 for $2, but feel free to donate more; it is for a good cause! All proceeds from this year's auction will be split between the Tompkins County SPCA and Hospice of Ithaca. Let's show them that Ithaca cares!
In addition to the iPod raffle, several baskets, including our trademark basket o' chocolate, will be raffled off the day of the auction. This is a GREAT opportunity to get wonderful items for a low cost. Stay tuned to Intercom for all the latest auction updates.
Take your calendar out right now and jot down the date: March 29. The silent auction will be from 10:00 a.m. to noon, followed by the live auction from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. If you set aside a few dollars a week, you will have a nice bidding base by then!
