IC Women faculty, administration, and staff are nominated and honored for their dedication, leadership, and service on IC's campus at the Women's Appreciation Celebration.
You are cordially invited to attend the Women’s Appreciation Celebration on March 29th at 6pm in Clark Lounge. In celebration of Women’s History Month, the African-Latino Society along with the IC Feminists are sponsoring this event which will honor various women, nominated by students, faculty, staff, and administration. The honorees are women employed by Ithaca College that will receive awards in recognition of their demonstrated leadership, dedication, and service on campus and in the surrounding community.
Ellen J. Staurowsky, Ithaca College professor in the department of Sport Management and Media, will serve as keynote speaker for the evening. We will also have performances by Poet Laureate and Ithaca College assistant professor, Michelle Berry, as well as other performances from faculty and students.
Please come, support, enjoy, and dine with your fellow faculty and administration in recognition of Women’s History Month. Your presence is much appreciated.
To nominate a faculty, administrator, of staff member for an award, please email fblosso1@ithaca.edu. Please include a short paragraph of 3 to 5 sentences of why you feel that your nominee should be honored at this event. Nominations will be accepted until March 22, 2006 at 5pm.
