Four free upcoming concerts in Ford Hall will showcase the spectrum of choral music at Ithaca College over three days. The Choir, Women's Chorale, Chorus, Madrigal Singers, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble will all perform.

On Saturday, April 22, at 8:15 p.m., the Ithaca College Choir will be conducted by Janet Galván and Michael Lippert. Music to be performed was composed by Brahms, Bruckner, Dello Joio, Finzi, Handl, Lauridsen, Mozart, and several others.

The Chorus and Madrigal Singers will present a joint concert on Sunday, April 23, at 4:00 p.m. Janet Galván and Elizabeth Swanson will conduct music of Fanshawe, Golovanov, Klebanow, Poulenc, Schütz, Hindemith, and Rutter. Deborah Montgomery-Cove will be the featured soprano soloist.

The Vocal Jazz Ensemble will take the stage on Sunday, April 23, at 8:15 p.m. under the direction of Lauri Robinson-Keegan. They will be joined by the VOICES Multicultural Chorus directed by Baruch Whitehead. Music arranged by the New York Voices, Manhattan Transfer, and The Ritz. Special guest pianist Skip Wilkins will join the group and be featured along with his daughter, soloist Emily Wilkins, a freshman in the ensemble.

Elizabeth Swanson will conduct the Women’s Chorale concert on Monday, April 24, at 8:15 p.m. The program includes a Missa Brevis by Imant Reminsh, an Ave Maria by Shapavolov, a spiritual setting by Dawson, and a work by Paul Halley conducted by Janet Galván.
