David Turkon to Work with Refugee Resettlement Program

David Turkon (Anthropology) has been appointed to the steering committee that is directing the formation of the Samaritan Center Resettlement Program of Ithaca.

This program, which is administered through Catholic Charities, will provide services and resources for immigrants and refugees throughout Tompkins County. Need for the program arose after the Refugee Assistance Program of Ithaca lost its funding and ceased operation in 2004
