Ithaca College

John Confer recently received a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation $23,000 to evaluate a nationally-unique effort to restore shrubland habitat to a condition favorable for rare and declining shrubland birds. Habitat restoration and funding have been provided by the New York State Parks. The work began in February '06 and continues through July '06.
