In honor of Older Americans Month and to enhance the community’s awareness of the retirement living options and care services available locally, Longview is hosting a special Open House on Saturday, May 6, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The Open House will feature tours of Ithacare’s New York State Licensed Adult Home (Assisted Living) and Longview’s independent apartments. There will also be information about Longview’s non-residential Adult Day Community and an overview of the intergenerational programs our residents enjoy every day. Special exhibits will be offered by Ithaca College’s Gerontology Institute and the Tompkins Community Action HeadStart. An exhibition of Longview residents’ artwork will be on display and there will be an artist’s reception at 3:00 p.m.
This event is open to the public and free of charge; refreshments will be provided. Longview is located on route 96B just south of Ithaca College. For more information about Longview’s Open House please call 375-6335.
