I am pleased to announce that Susanne Morgan, associate professor, sociology, has been re-appointed as the coordinator for faculty development activities for the next three years. Susanne has served as coordinator since the 2002-03 year and contributed significantly to developing the program of activites in support of faculty development at the College.

Among her programming accomplishments are the establishment of the Center for Faculty Excellence, the development of a uniquely designed mentoring program that incorporates faculty across the various career phases, and events centering on teaching and learning and the scholarship of teaching. She has shared this work at professional conferences and has been instrumental in establishing a foundation for continuing innovation in faculty development programming at the College. Please join me in congratulating Susanne on her excellent work as she continues as coordinator for faculty development activities.

Congratulations, Susanne!

Henry David Thoreau said "It's not what you look at that matters-- it's what you see." You obviously see many good things and in turn, you share your vision with so many.

Best wishes and may you enjoy much continued success!
