Better duck, Dorothy...there's a Twister at the Campus Center, hovering over the lobby! Actually there are a few Twisters...the game, the movie, twister in a glass, and more! Before you board up the windows, come and take a chance on the IC Hope "Twister" basket, one of 16 Wizard of Oz themed baskets on display at our fundraising table.
For a sneak peak at the baskets on display, check them out online at: www.ithaca.edu/ichope and then come and see them in person. Luckily, the check cashing area and ATMs are within sight of the IC Hope tables, as you will probably want to visit them first before taking chances on all of the tempting baskets! It is a little known fact, but in the movie Dorothy was actually saying, "ATM, ATM!" not the reported, "Auntie Em"! The Munchkins also asked me to tell you that luminaria bags, IC Hope buttons and t-shirts, and suns and moons are also available at the table...as well as a Munchkin basket chock full of baby items. Sales will take place on June 26 and 28, July 5, 10, and 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Don't be a Cowardly Lion...come and support your team!
IC Hope is a group of Ithaca College employees, their families, and friends with a common goal: to help fight cancer and educate the community. While many of you will be resting comfortably in your beds overnight July 14-15, we will be walking around the Lansing High School track at all hours of the night, showing our support for the cause. Please support us as we represent Ithaca College in this most worthy event. You can donate to someone on the team, buy items from our fundraising table, take raffle chances, or just show up at the event...no matter how you support us, you will, in turn, be supporting all those who have been affected by cancer.
