Summer Piano Institute Offers Free Recitals

Faculty and students in the Summer Piano Institute will present a series of free concerts, starting with IC faculty pianist Jennifer Hayghe at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, in the Hockett Family Recital Hall. Her program will include three Scarlatti sonatas, selected "Lyric Pieces" by Grieg, and Moussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition."

Other Institute faculty members will perform on Tuesday, July 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall.

There will be two performances featuring the students in the Institute, both in the Hockett Family Recital Hall: the first will be Friday, July 14, at 7:00 p.m., and the second Saturday, July 15, at 10:00 a.m.
