It is great to see continued effort being made on campus to make our facilities more accessible. The U.S. Department of Education reported in November of 2000 that “students with disabilities are less likely to persist in earning a postsecondary degree or credential than peers without disabilities.” Thus, providing accessibility is an opportunity, not just an obligation, as it helps create an environment in which everyone can more fully participate. Students, staff, faculty and visitors alike all benefit from these changes and the message it sends. Keep up the good work!

I would like to echo Irene's sentiments and to say thank you on behalf of all the students and staff that will benefit from the new accessible counter.
