Beginning Thursday, July 20, the Phillips Hall Post Office will be temporarily relocated to Friends Room 102 while a new accessible counter is installed. Tentatively, this will take two weeks.

We will still provide regular services from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Fridays.

The mail for students and summer programs currently collected at Phillips Hall should be picked up at Friends Room 102 until further notice.

Outgoing mail may be left at the new location or placed in the collection box by Williams Hall.

Please contact 4-3371 if you have questions.

It is great to see continued effort being made on campus to make our facilities more accessible. The U.S. Department of Education reported in November of 2000 that “students with disabilities are less likely to persist in earning a postsecondary degree or credential than peers without disabilities.” Thus, providing accessibility is an opportunity, not just an obligation, as it helps create an environment in which everyone can more fully participate. Students, staff, faculty and visitors alike all benefit from these changes and the message it sends. Keep up the good work!
