I am pleased to announce that Russell Martin has accepted the position of Assistant Director for the Center for Student Leadership & Involvement. This position was effective on Friday, September 1.

In his role, Russell will be responsible for student organizations registration, registered student organization event planning approval and risk management, and will serve as a resource and support for student organization advisors. He will also serve as the adviser to the major programming organizations including Bureau of Concerts, IC After Dark, and Student Activities Board.

Russell brings three years of direct experience with the CSLI and knowledge of the department's strengths and needs, high energy, and a commitment to student organization success. I know you will join me in congratulating Russell and supporting his work as he makes this transition.
