This year the topic for the Annual Perialas Prize in Persausive Speaking is PRIVACY AND FREEDOM IN THE INFORMATION AGE.

Encourage your students to enter by contacting Professor Jodi Cohen in the Department of Speech Communication (4-3025). Preliminary speeches (7-10 minutes) must be presented to a panel of judges on October 16th. The best three speakers go on to speak at a public event. One of the speakers is selected to receive a $500 cash prize
