As you know from previous communications, the College is offering two medical plan options for 2007. In an effort to ensure that each eligible employee understands each plan option, and knows what tools and other resources are available to help decide which plan best meets their needs, several informational sessions will be held as detailed below.
Specific details of the new plans will be presented at the sessions, as well as a demonstration of online decision making tools offered on the Aetna website.  There will be ample opportunity for questions and answers after the presentation and throughout the remainder of the Fall Semester. 
It is very important that each Individual Choice participant attend one of the meetings. Supervisors should give all employees the opportunity to attend one of the meetings. We have worked to schedule meetings so that we can accommodate the many work schedules on campus. In addition to the sessions listed on the next page, arrangements will be made to address the needs of those employees who work during third shift or at locations other than on the Ithaca campus.

In addition to the informational sessions, representatives from Aetna as well as the benefits department will be available during the re-enrollment period to answer any further questions and to help with online re-enrollment.
