Artist's Talk: Katherine Sullivan

Katherine Sullivan will speak about her work currently on display in the exhibition "Past Perfect: Recent Work by Katherine Sullivan" at the Handwerker Gallery at 12.15 p.m. on Thursday, November 6.


"Past Perfect" focuses on Sullivan’s recent series of paintings and drawings: Caldarium, Body Electric, and Mesuline. In each of these series she engages in a dialogue with the canon of Western art and, through her technical and conceptual explorations, brings them squarely into the 21st century.
