Matthew VanVranken '81 (Health Services Administration) Executive Vice President, Spectrum Health System, and Presdient, Spectrum Health Hospitals (Michigan) will be speaking on a variety of health care topics on Monday, October 9th.

Mr. VanVranken was appointed President Spectrum Health Hospitals Grand Rapids in 2003. In his role he leads Spectrum's Grand Rapids hospitals including: Butterworth and Blodgett campuses, DeVos Children's Hospital and Spectrums Continuing Care group which includes its Kent Community Campus and more than 80 ambulatory sites.

A graduate of Ithaca College in New York, Matthew received his Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
