Project Name: Continuation – Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Project 2006

Project Location – South Aurora Street between the intersections of Prospect & Pleasant Streets.

Project Type - Water & Sewer

Project Description - Sanitary sewer main construction along route of sidewalk on West side of South Aurora Street up the hill between the intersection of Prospect Street and Pleasant Street.

Project Goal - Installation of a new sanitary sewer main.

Project Start Date - Wednesday, October 11th, 7:00 A.M.

Scheduled Completion Date - Wednesday, October 18th – Sanitary Sewer Main complete along South Aurora Street from the intersection of Prospect Street South (uphill) to just shy of the intersection of Pleasant Street.

Local Impacts – South Aurora Street between Prospect Street and Pleasant Street will be changed to one lane North bound (in-bound, down hill), the South bound (out-bound, up hill) lane will be closed to thru traffic weekdays during the hours of 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. East Clinton and Prospect Streets between South Cayuga Street and South Aurora Street will be closed weekdays during the hours of 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. to East bound thru truck traffic headed to go South (up hill) on South Aurora Street.

Recommended Detours – South bound (out bound, up hill) - Truck traffic headed South bound on South Aurora Street via East Clinton and Prospect Streets will be detoured North on South Cayuga Street, then East (right) on East Green Street, then West (left) on East State Street, then South (left) on South Aurora Street. All traffic on South Aurora Street to turn left (East) back on to South Aurora Street. Detour signs will be posted.

North bound (in bound, down hill) – traffic will be maintained on South Aurora Street.
