Bombers Earn First NCAA Women's Tennis Bid With Empire 8 Title

The women's tennis team (7-1) beat Nazareth 5-4 Sunday to win the Empire 8 Championship Tournament title and clinch the program's first bid to the NCAA championships.

This year marks the first time that the Empire 8 champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA championships.

Senior Erin Chapman clinched the match for the Bombers, posting a straight-set win at first singles.
