Ithaca College

Mead Loop, associate professor and chair of the Journalism department, was appointed to a two-year term as a director of the National Scholastic Press Association and Associated College Press, which work to improve student media in colleges and high schools.

Loop also serves as vice president for campus chapter affairs of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ)and as co-chair of the grants and awards committee for the Sigma Delta Phi Foundation.
