National Latino AIDS Awareness Day

October 15, 2006 is the fourth annual observance of National Latino AIDS Awareness Day. It is a day of hope for the future of a world without AIDS .

NLAAD is a day of awareness and prevention of HIV/AIDS in Latina/o communities, and a time to renew commitment to ending the spread of HIV and ensuring quality of life to those living with HIV. This year's theme is "Knowledge is Power. Get the Facts. Get Tested for HIV." For resources and information, visit National Latino AIDS Awareness Day.
