Project Look Sharp is looking for interns to work on the following projects:
1. Photography project (Peoples of America; Family Photos)
2. Environment
3. Website
We are offering three internship positions for 2-3 credits each. Interns must be eligible through their department for selected credits, and must have a faculty advisor from their departments.
1. Photography--intern will work to develop curriculum materials and photographs for two projects: the first is a K-5 school curriculum that focuses on diversity in family life; the second is working to create a poster illustrating diversity in the American population. Must have good photographic/graphic skills and be familiar with media literacy principles.
2. Environment--Project Look Sharp has a grant and is developing a high school-college curriculum involving biology, physics, earth science, chemistry, and environmental studies. Must have a background in science; be comfortable with web research, writing, and editing; and media editing (iMovie and digitizing).
3. Website design-- intern will edit and work on optimization of our website.
