On a more important note, one of the co-planners of this event was Danielle Goren, who as many of you may know, was killed in an automobile accident last Friday. Danielle was a dedicated member of the Senior Class and committed member of the Senior Class Cabinet. An active student leader, she served as a resident assistant in the College Circle Apartments, and as an orientation leader. She was active in Hillel and was the president of the college’s chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association. Danielle was passionate about working with children with disabilities. Danielle’s family has worked with Temple Beth El, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to establish the Danielle Goren Memorial Fund which will be used to serve children with disabilities. As Danielle was a vital part of the Senior Class, the Senior Class Cabinet will provide an opportunity for individuals to donate to this fund during the Halloween Party.
