A service to remember the life of Danielle Goren will be held on Monday, November 6, at 5:30 p.m. in Muller Chapel. The Ithaca College senior was killed in an automobile accident on October 20 while traveling to Washington, DC, over fall break.

Members of the campus community are invited to gather at the chapel to listen, speak, and share with one another their memories of Danielle. Several students, faculty, and staff members who worked closely with her will deliver formal remarks.

A speech-language pathology major, Danielle was involved in a wide range of campus activities. She served as a resident assistant in the College Circle Apartments, as an orientation leader, and as a member of the senior class cabinet. She was active in Hillel and the Jewish Studies program and was the president of the college’s chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association.

To help fulfill her goal of helping children with disabilities, Danielle’s family has established a memorial fund. Donations can be sent to the Danielle Goren Memorial Fund, c/o Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley, 702 North 22nd St., Allentown, PA 18104.
