Anthro Prof publishes paper

Asst. Professor David Turkon has an article published in the Vol. 28, No. 4, Fall 2006 issue of Practicing Anthropology.

The article, of which Turkon is the senior author, is entitled "Settling Sudanese Refugees in the Age of Individualism," and concerns the issue of resettlement of the so-called Lost Boys and Girls of Sudan. The article discusses the origins and evolution of the Arizona Lost Boys Center as it seeks to help the Sudanese refugees fleeing the conflict in the Darfur region and elsewhere.
