Assistant Professor of Journalism and Media Studies, Deepa Kumar, (Rutgers University) will speak about “Ports, Cartoons, and Nukes: Islamophobia and U.S. Imperialism in the New Millennium” on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, in Klingenstein Lounge at 7:00 p.m. Professor of Politics, Zillah Eisenstein, will be the IC faculty panelist and Dean of Roy H. Park School of Communications, Dianne Lynch, will offer the introductory comments.

This talk is part of the discussion series Global Fury/ Global Fear: Engaging Muslims being hosted by the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity, Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies. Light refreshments will be served!
