Mike Bovi, Director of College Stores Retiring

Mike Bovi, Director of College Stores, has announced his plans to retire from the College as of February 28, 2007.

Mike has provided outstanding leadership for the College's Bookstore for the last 24 years and created Mac's when Phillips Hall was constructed in 1987. He plans to spend more time with his son Chris and daughter Nancy and their famlies which include four grandchildren. It has been a privilege for me to have the opportunity to know and work with Mike and I wish him good health and happiness in retirement. We will have a reception for Mike in February. A search committee is currently being formed to identify candidates to fill his position.

Mike has always been a proactive manager who has been eager eager to equally please students, staff, faculty, and visitors. This, I am certain, has been a challenge. I wish him the very best in the future. Welcome to retirement, Mike! You're gonna love it.
