Polar Plunge 2007

Contributed by Deborah Mohlenhoff on 12/06/06

It's the most wonderful time of the year...Polar Plunge 2007!

Polar Plunge, modeled after Community Plunge, is a one day community service event. Volunteers arrive on campus Thursday, January 18th and serve at various sites in the Ithaca area on Friday, January 19th.

Past volunteer sites have included Museum of the Earth, Significant Elements, Caroline Elementary School and Better Housing for Tompkins County.

All meals are covered, and Friday night we even go ice skating! Sign-ups take place now through December 15th, so hurry up to the CSLI to put your name on list! Don't miss out on this great opportunity to help those in need and meet new friends!

Any questions can be directed to Kristen Leising, student organizer, at KLeisin1@ithaca.edu
