Dear Colleagues:
The 2007 Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival in cooperation with the Affirmative Action Office is sponsoring the IC FLEFF Fellowship program.
This short term fellowship is open to graduate students of color regardless of discipline. The fellowship will cover all expenses to attend FLEFF from March 29 – April 1, 2007. Fellows will be invited to attend screenings, presentations by filmmakers, sit in on classes, and attend after film parties and dinners.
FLEFF is a one week multimedia interarts extravaganza that reboots the environment and sustainability into a larger global conversation. The FLEFF fellows will bring a diverse perspective to the Festival, and the fellowship program will allow IC to share our interest in sustainability with grad students from diverse backgrounds who are interested in pursuing careers in higher education.
If you know any grad students who might be interested in applying for a FLEFF Fellowship, please direct those students to the FLEFF website at https://www.ithaca.edu/fleff/fellowship_application.php or have those students contact me directly. The deadline for applications is February 1, 2007.
Thank you.
