Ithaca College Dining Services is treating its resident dining customers to some great food and fun activities all while focusing on eating healthy and staying active during a special Taking It All In Stride promotion on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 for dinner in the Terrace Dining Hall.

In addition to some useful tips on reducing stress, Taking It All in Stride will also provide students with information on the benefits of staying active and eating right. Highlighting the event will be an easy to follow, self-monitoring Nordic walking program that can be customized to fit individual student needs and fitness goals. Plus, everyone can enjoy an assortment of healthy and delicious foods to help energize their spirit in pursuit of a healthy lifestyle.

According to Jeff Scott, Director of Dining, “I’m really looking forward to our Taking It All in Stride promotion because it promises to be a real benefit to our students in two ways. First, it will provide additional support for those students who have trouble staying on track when it comes to eating right and exercising and second, it will serve as a good refresher for those students who are already active and eating healthy. The Nordic walking program is really a great part of this event too because it allows students to create a safe exercise program to fit their individual needs. Complement this with a full line-up of great-tasting foods and I think you have a real winner.”

Taking It All in Stride will take place on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 for dinner in the Terrace Dining Hall. For more information on this and other campus dining events, please contact Campus Dining Services at (607)274-7352 or visit our special promotion website at www.forstudentsbystudents.com.
