Career Services Welcomes: The Institute For The Recruitment of Teachers

On Thursday, February 8, 2007, Career Services is pleased to welcome Ms. Leislie Godo-Solo from the Institute for the Recruitment of Teachers (IRT) to campus.

Founded in 1990, IRT seeks to “deepen the pool of talented minorities entering the teaching profession in our country.” Currently, IRT selects outstanding college students and graduates from multiple backgrounds who demonstrate a commitment to eradicating racial disparities and the attendant educational consequences of these differences.

An information session will be held so that students can learn more about the program and the application process.
