Columnist to Speak on Media Politics of War Comment from zorsula1 on 02/05/07
Norman Solomon has been an antiwar activist his entire life. In the mid 1990's he was head of FAIR a group that thinks that left views aren't represented in the news. Since then, he has struggled to unite the left with the far left through clever journalism. Thanks, Park. We have once again failed our committment to diversity--on its ideological front--by bringing in only the most liberal speakers we can find. I'll be interested to hear what he has to say on "detecing bias in news media."
