I am very excited to announce that three members of the Marcom team have been promoted to new positions.
Bonny Griffith is now the associate director of recruitment marketing. Bonny is leading a dramatic shift in our approach to recruitment marketing. She is creative, innovative, and incredibly dedicated to ensuring that we connect with prospective students in a compelling manner. She leads a talented team taking on the challenge of marketing the College to prospective students in an ever more competitive and changing marketplace.
Joanne Hindman is now the associate director of web marketing. Joanne's hard work and leadership was critical to the success of WIBI. The impact of the web as a marketing tool grows exponentially every day and Joanne is the perfect person to help ensure that Ithaca stays ahead of the curve.
Laurie Ward is now the manager of marketing services. Laurie has been an outstanding marketing communications manager working with many areas across campus including the Park School, H&S and SACL. In this new role she holds on to her MCM responsibilities and takes on even more including greater coordination of marketing efforts across schools and offices. Laurie's attention to detail and ability to forge relationships has made her an incredibly valuable leader in the Marcom team.

I should note that these promotions are part of a bigger restructuring in Marcom that includes quite a few changes impacting nearly everyone on the team. I just want to say how lucky I am to work with such an incredible group of talented and dedicated people who amaze me every day with their willingness to take on new challenges.
