Three mathematics majors traveled to Lincoln, Nebraska, to present research results at the ninth annual Nebraska Conference for Undergraduate Women in Mathematics, February 9-11, 2007.

Jolie Baumann '07 presented "Counting Dominating Configurations of Kings," based on her research from summer 2006 in the Clemson University Mathematics Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program.

Jillian Cavanna '07 presented "Geometry in Culture: Mathematical Explorations of Infinite Patterns," based on research completed with professor Osman Yurekli.

Peta-Gay McCarthy '07 presented "Fun with Chebyshev Polynomials and Connections," based on research completed with professor John Maceli.
