Campus Wide Electrical Shutdown

Contributed by Lori Ray on 02/16/07

There will be a campus wide electrical shutdown on Monday, March 12th from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This shutdown is necessary in order to tie in new high voltage cables at our substation.

For those of you who have terminals, printers, or personal computers, it is the advice of ITS that you unplug them before this interruption. We also ask that you communicate this to the appropriate personnel within your division.

Please feel free to call Bill Bartnik at 4-3230 with any questions or concerns.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

For anyone who is staying on campus spring break, be sure to unplug all your
stuff well before 7 am. Over winter break, the college had one of these. It
was supposed to start at midnight, but they decided to cut all the power
before 11 pm.
