Ithaca College

On February 10, the Ithaca College Speech and Debate team finished in second place in Lincoln-Douglas debate at the Suffolk University tournament in Boston.

Sophomore Nicole Reustle finished the preliminary rounds with a 3-1 record after defeating debaters from the University of Pennsylvania, Emerson College, and West Chester University. In the elimination rounds, Nicole defeated debaters from UPenn and West Chester again to make it to the final round, where she lost to a debater from Lafayette College.

Nicole was one of several Ithaca College students who traveled to Suffolk University for a speech tournament that included teams from Cornell, Northwestern, and as far away as the University of Florida.
