Marina Caillud, assistant professor of biology, published an article, "Biometrical Genetic Analysis of Luteovirus Transmission in the Aphid Schizaphis graminum." The piece describes how that aphid contributes to the transmission of barley yellow dwarf disease.

The article, written with three scientists from Cornell's Department of Plant Pathology, was published in the journal Heredity (98, 106-113), an official journal of the Genetics Society.
