The Ithaca College National Residence Hall Honorary (NHRR) is looking for nominations for students who you feel make a positive contribution to Ithaca College residence hall programs and to our community in general!
NRHH, which is part of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls, serves to recognize students whose hard work and efforts have positively enhanced the Ithaca community. Only one percent of the on campus population can be an active member of NRHH at any given time. It is a great honor and achievement for those students who are nominated and selected into NRHH.
Nominating someone is easy! All you have to do is send the name and on-campus address to Courtney Bazan at cbazan@ithaca.edu. It's that simple! Nominations are due Wednesday, March 14, 2007.
In order for a student to be inducted into NRHH, s/he must first be nominated by another student or a staff member here at Ithaca College. I hope that you will take the time to nominate those students that you feel have made a difference to our residence halls or taken on an active role within the campus community. Each student will be sent an application, a recommendation form, and a letter explaining what NRHH is all about and how the process works. The minimum requirements for induction into NRHH are as follows:
1.Must have lived and been active in the residence halls for at least two semesters.
2.Must be currently living in Ithaca College residence halls.
3.Must have a minimum 2.25 G.P.A. and in good judicial standing.
4.Must be nominated by a member of the Ithaca College community.
Please take the time to nominate someone you know -- a friend, RA, student, staff member, neighbor, etc. This is a great opportunity to thank someone for their contributions to our community! Again, nominations are due to Courtney Bazan at cbazan@ithaca.edu on or before Wednesday, March 14, 2007.
