I am pleased to be able to inform the campus community that Mark Coldren has accepted the position of Associate Vice President for Human Resources at the College.
Mark joins us from Syracuse University where he has served as the Director of Work Life and Organizational Development since November of 1998. Prior to that, he was the Manager of Human Resources at UTC-Carrier Corporation and a Human Resources/Learning and Development Specialist at Gould Pumps, Inc. Earlier in his career Mark was also a teacher in the North Syracuse Central School District. He has his Master’s Degree from Syracuse University, is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and he is an adjunct faculty member in the Whitman School of Management and the College of Human Services and Health Professions at Syracuse.
Mark will formally be on board June 1st, but will be on campus a number of times between now and then to begin getting to know us. He is excited about becoming a member of the Ithaca College community.
